Description
Made from 2 mil polyimide for applications that require extra electrical resistance and puncture or tear resistance. 2-mil Kapton® tape is also used as a high temperature masking tape for gold finger contacts during wave soldering and as a masking tape for powder painting. The polyimide adhesive tape also offers excellent dimensional stability and low moisture absorption.
