These products are pressure sensitive tapes using a skived & tensilized Teflon™ film that is coated with "high temperature" silicone adhesive. The tensilized film provides higher tensile strength, lower elongation and higher dielectric strength than regular skived film. Those products designated with an "asterisk" are UL recognized components. (UL File no. E179854)
These tapes are used primarily in electrical applications such as coil wraps and separators, transformer, slot liners and harness wrapping where good insulation and heat resistance are needed. They are also used in mechanical applications requiring high temperature resistance and good release properties such as aerospace composites.
Above are "Typical Values" not intended for specifications. DeWAL requests the opportunity to work with you on specifications.
